Assigned specific supervisory functions by the Unit Director and is responsible for the ongoing evaluation and prioritization of activities to meet the changing unit demands.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Performs all duties detailed in RN Job Description.
- Improves the quality of patient care through staff education and development, physician, patient/family satisfaction promotion, performance improvement activities, staffing facilitation and scheduling.
- Promotes and role models effective communication, professional relationships and staff accountability.
- Assumes accountability for identifying problems and issues, generating and supporting solutions, and anticipating effects of decision.
- Abides by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) privacy and security regulations regarding all aspects of Protected Health Information (PHI).
- Serves a population newborn through geriatric.

Requirements
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas.
Current Healthcare Provider BLS
Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System (Pulmonary)
